Kids

Our approach to kids ministry is welcoming and engaging them in our worships services.  We celebrate children.  Children’s worship tables are located in the center of our sanctuary.  A children’s message is a part of each service but since we are ALL God’s children we expect this will be a time of ministry for all ages.  We often hear it is a highlight of the service.  Children are encouraged to engage in hands on activities at the worship tables weekly.  We also encourage them to be a part of the service.  They are always welcome to read scripture; offer prayers; serve communion; pass offering trays; serve as praise and worship leaders or provide special music.  Mathew 18:5 says “And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”

We value worship and are excited to offer families the opportunity to experience God’s love together.  It’s also important to know, you don’t have to be accompanied by an adult to attend worship.  If your parents aren’t able to attend you are still welcome.   In addition to worship kids are invited to all social activities and events as well as mission and service trips.  It’s important to be surrounded by people of all ages who love and support you. We are doing our best to connect children to God’s love in every way possible!

Students

Student ministry is important to us.  We want to provide students with the opportunity to develop a personal faith in Christ as they step into their specific roles in the story God is writing with their lives.  We work hard to create environments that engage students in conversations about God, encourage them to ask questions, search answers and truly learn to listen to His leading in their lives.  We want to see our students step into the fullness of life Christ offers.

We know that middle school and high school are the years where students are in most need of kindness, community and someone to walk alongside them as they grow. Our student ministries provide connections with one another, opportunities to serve others and experiences providing spiritual growth

Check out the calendar for ways you can connect, serve, learn, grow and worship.  We promise you’ll have lots of fun and be ready to return for more.

Adult Ministries

In accordance to our story of connecting all to God’s love, men and women are welcomed into the fullness of their ministry callings at FCC. Men and women serve side by side in all leadership capacities. We are a strong, vibrant community because of the recognition of the value and contributions of each of
our members.

There are a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth at various times throughout the week. Check out the calendar for specific times, dates and details.

CWF – Christian Women’s Fellowship exists to help develop Christian living and service. Activities include a monthly luncheon; morning coffee dates, Bible study and service opportunities.

CMF – Christian Men’s Fellowship prepares and serves a monthly all church breakfast one Saturday each month open to anyone. A large breakfast buffet feast is served and inspirational, educational, or informational programming is a part of each meeting.  Check event calendar for the next breakfast opportunity.

Men
Men are important and we need to gather and have accountability and encouragement as we go through the seasons of life. What better way to get through tough times and/or great times than with friends. Check out our events calendar to see how you can connect and join our Men's ministry gatherings!

Missions

Action is important to us! Our location provides close proximity to the OSU stadium. Athletic event parking revenue is used to fund missions. We have sent hundreds of participates including large groups of young adults from OSU on mission trips to our mission partners in Jamaica. The participants have ranged in age from 7-83. We have hosted mission camps bringing in hundreds of teens to serve as many community service organizations as possible. Our members serve as leaders, volunteers and board members for Habitat for Humanity; Elite Repeat, The Restore, Our Daily Bread, CASA, Red Cross and other organizations. We host a Red Cross blood drive in our facility regularly. Many of our students serve year round for Central Christian Camps Make Promises Happen, providing outdoor recreational opportunities to individuals with special needs. We encourage anyone looking to connect through opportunities to serve to join us in being the hands and feet of Christ in any way that appeals to you.
