Tech Volunteer Positions
The PC Tech handles the service presentation files.
Responsibilities:
- Run the presentation during service.
- Countdown starts at 10:15 AM
- Follow verbal and written queues throughout the service to load appropriate media
The Sound Tech runs the sound board.
Responsibilities:
- Work with staff & musicians to stage microphones and speakers
- Soundcheck with musicians before service
- Build monitor mix for musicians and house mix for congregation/live-stream
- Distribute mics for speakers
- Run the soundboard during service
The Live-Stream Tech works the cameras for our live-streams.
Responsibilities:
- Boot cameras, live-stream PC, and presentation PC
- Load presentation files before service.
- Check that the files match the order of worship
- Test all media slides and lyric presentations
- Setup Family Room viewing space
- Launch live-stream 15 minutes prior to service start congregation/live-stream
- Run the live-stream switcher, which is fed by two controllable cameras, the presentation output, and adjustable keyed inputs
